A Program of Collaborative Solutions

What is the purpose of a group?

The group of peers meets with a facilitator to share challenges and solutions of the organization and leading it. Members are both recipients of help and advice and in turn, provide it to others. It is a joint Advisory Board.

What are the benefits of membership?

  • Discover fresh ideas on challenges from diverse perspectives.
  • Receive immediate constructive problem solutions you can implement.
  • Experience the opportunity to share your success stories with others.
  • Experience an open, yet safe environment to discuss any core organizational concerns.
  • Learn to save time, money and energy and become more productive.
  • Gain professional and personal growth for you and your organization.

Where and how often do the groups meet?

Groups are made up of 5 to 8 members, and the group stays together. The meetings are up to two hours in duration, meet every two weeks, and are held at a location in Sarasota. Time of meetings to be decided by agreement.

What is the process?

  • The facilitator generates safety and confidentiality groundrules.
  • Members check in at each meeting and describe any challenges they wish to discuss.
  • The facilitator chooses which challenges will be discussed, and assures that those topics not discussed be considered in future sessions.
  • In a twenty-five minute time period the presenter can talk the whole time about the situation, or, preferably present the challenge and ask for feedback and advice. This is a dynamic process so the facilitator will moderate the discussion.
  • A final reflection of all members will close each session.
  • Third and Sixth sessions are dedicated to follow-up reflection periods.

How do I join?

Contact Collaborative Solutions to reserve a place in a group. New groups will be created as enough people sign up. If you sign up to join a Mastermind group, it is assumed you are signing up for and intend to be present at meetings. You may be asked to leave the group if you are absent more than once.
